Pediatric cancer, it is as a team that we will beat it!
- In Canada, cancer strikes 1 in 400 children under the age of 15
- More than half of children are under 5 years old when diagnosed
- And it is the leading cause of illness-related death among young people.
Thanks to the Charles-Bruneau Foundation and the CHEO Foundation, children in Quebec and
Ontario can receive support, from day 1 of their diagnosis, in care facilities specially designed for
them. This is an important element, because this place will become their second home for the
next 2 or 3 years, on average.
They also benefit from significant and numerous advances in research, giving them hope for a
