Your 24h donation race means making a difference for sick children. It also means taking one step at a time toward realizing the crazy dream of Pierre Bruneau, the spokesperson of Fondation Charles-Bruneau and the father of the little boy for whom it was named: to shut down the foundation because children will all have been cured of disease.
This common vision, held by so many stakeholders involved directly or indirectly with Fondation Charles-Bruneau, is not the only objective, however. Children with cancer undergo extremely aggressive treatments that too often wreak damage on their young bodies. That is why working together, raising funds and helping advance medical research gives us hope that all children might one day be cured, and cured better, without any major long-term aftereffects.
